In Agatha Christie’s best known courtroom drama, Leonard Vole stands trial for the murder of Emily French, an older woman with whom he has developed a friendship. All of the evidence points to his guilt, including the fact he stands to inherit a sizable sum from the decedent. His alibi appears to be rock solid, but his wife (on whom its success depends) isn’t as supportive as one might expect. Will Leonard be convicted, or will his attorney be able to convince the jury that he is an innocent man? Will his wife come to his aid, or will she be the chief witness for the prosecution?

Immortalized onstage and screen by Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke, this classic tells the story of Annie Sullivan and her student, blind and mute Helen Keller. The Miracle Worker dramatizes the volatile relationship between the lonely teacher and her charge. Trapped in a secret, silent world, unable to communicate, Helen is violent, spoiled, almost sub-human and treated by her family as such. Only Annie realizes that there is a mind and spirit waiting to be rescued from the dark, tortured silence. With scenes of intense physical and emotional dynamism, Annie's success with Helen finally comes with the utterance of a single, glorious word: "water". Come and see the WDPAC jrs present The Miracle Worker.
